We support and develop projects and initiatives that contribute to responsible forest management (including forest certification), wood traceability, low-impact forestry, reforestation, and biodiversity protection. Proper forest management can generate faster and healthier forest growth, as well as obtaining quality wood that can store carbon for a longer time, through the end products obtained from it.
We support education, research, development and innovation in forestry and the wood industry through student projects, laboratory equipment, projects, and events.
The foundation invites forestry professionals and stakeholders to send us suggestions, project proposals, opinions, ideas for developing programmes and improving their interventions, as well as regarding the composition of the foundation's advisory board. We are looking for people with experience in the fields of forestry, environmental protection and climate change, regional development, education, wood traceability.
